Gayatri Ketharaman

Hi again, I'm a UX designer based in India. Since childhood, all things art and craft have fascinated me. This passion lead me into design school, where I was introduced to UX. The field clicked instantly: it was a great way to combine my creativity with my interest in human behaviour and all things logical.

My years at college gave me a thorough knowledge of the design process, while work taught me to contextualise those steps and work with teams across disciplines. Consulting projects involving research followed by concept creation and testing in verticals like insurance, travel and finance. Working with product teams to redesign employee facing and account management applications for a leading hardware company.

Aug 2020 - Sept 2021:

Yalochat, Conversational UX Designer

Designing conversation flows and in-chat UI for chatbots across different verticals like consumer finance, retail and healthcare.

Dec 2019 - May 2020:

Philips, UX Intern

Conducting secondary and field research on the state of healthcare systems in rural India. Designing of an application suite for community health workers.

Dec 2019 - May 2020:

Sociosquares, UI/UX Intern

Heuristics, testing and redesigning for a B2B application for building loyalty and advocacy in employees.

In addition to this, I've worked as a freelancer to create websites, branding material, illustrations for various clients across domains like events, tech, and health and safety.
